New BUCs rewards

I like the new paints and the Plunderbuss instrument, so I got one and it spawned as Demon Slayer and Flame Slayer. But what's with that sword - it cannot be repaired, so why would I waste doubloons on that ??? Maybe I'll get one for my "Pimp Daddy Pirate" to swagger around with.
