Am I understanding this wrong or are the devs/mesenna effin with us?

Let me get this straight,
  • Gargoyles can only wear armor on their earrings/glasses slot. (no hats)
  • The only craftable item for that slot is an earring from tinkers.
  • Tinkers dont have any kind of runic tool?
Am I getting this right? Please tell me I overlooked something.

    Yup impossible to make a gargoyle thrower. That's why you never see garg bots at events.

    Also, gargoyles can’t fly that fast.  Bots on horses can out run them with ease.

    While tinkers don't have runic tools, earrings can be reforged using a runic smith hammer.

    From publish 85 the following Tinker items may be reforged

    Using Blacksmith runic tools: Smith Hammer, Sledge Hammer, Pick Axe, Pitchfork, Butcher Knife, Cleaver, Skinning Knife, Hatchet, Gargish Necklace, Gargish Glasses, Gargish Amulet, Gargish Earrings. Using Carpentry runic tools: Nunchaku Using Masonry runic tools: Gargish Stone Amulet

    Do you know if there is a way to alter Etoile Bleue and Novo Bleue to gargoyle versions? I can't do it with my Tinker and Vulkrax guy did not do it.

    rings and bracelets can be worn as is, you don't need to alter.

    Yea, this was always an issue. Maybe in 10 years they'll fix it just like it took them that long to make some of the essences useful :sigh:
