Patch Error!

Error: The patch client was unable to retrieve the file [base/animationframe4.uop/f925c1f031ffa0f2] from the patch server. Please try the patch operation again in a short while.

It appears every time I open the client and it throws me an error!

I have already uninstalled it several times and the error still persists.

Any solution?

Yes, but I just solved it. I had to turn off the router for a while and with that it was able to load the complete files. Thank you!

In my case, I restarted the Router (turn it off and on). Then I opened the client and pressed full file check and that's it.

3) What I have tried and does NOT solve the problem

a) Perform full file check

b) Clear the Patch folder

c) Delete and perform another clean install and update

d) Delete and perform another clean install and update 12 HOURS later

e) Rebooted modems and router

The message received is:

Pls help asap, I paid and waited one whole year just for one event and I cannot even play yet.

Another person had a almost the same problem and her EA folder had only a hand full of files in it, she never did say if she fixed the problem.

Ok I found the solution.

The blockage was as animationframe4.

At first I deleted this file and let it patch, same problem occurred.

Then I deleted ALL Amimationxxxx files in the folder, and let the system patch, and it works.

Hello all,
October 31, fresh install of enhanced client
A new install still has this issue and none of the work arounds above are working.
Any suggestions?

As a fluke I changed the install folder to NOT be Read-only and did a full file check and AnimationFrame4.uop wrote just fine.
