Can we get an option to ignore/hide users

Some users constantly post things not worth reading, can we get an option to not display those posts/notifications when a certain user posts. For example, just plucking a name out of nowhere ******.

But then you will never see what he posts in your thread, don't you want the opportunity to state a rebuttal to his comment.
