Mantle of the Archlich Can't Be Repaired

Good Day,
I transmogrified the Mantle of the Archlich to the Tabard of the Archlich from the rewards Vendor. I worn down the durability and Still cannot repair it with any of my crafting abilities. Should be Tailoring but I tried all that have repair skills. Also, Clothing Bless deeds are not working on the Scabbard of Juo'nar.

newsletter says its working as intended.  so, no.  they dont view it as broken.

@Kyronix / @Mesanna - Please reconsider fixing it. I'm another person who didn't know the Mantle of the Archlich will be come irrepairable and spent money on the transmogrification potion to get a nicer look and now I can't repair it. This is a really bad user experience, especially when it comes to such a rare and valuable item.

Release a transmog target item for robe slot - check 
sell transmog potion in store  - check 
let user transmog valuable artifact - check 
Item becomes unrepairable - check 
realaese statement saying it’s working as anticipated - check 
lesson for player base do not buy transmog potions -check mate
