Provocation animate continues when one side of the dance is dead

If two monsters are provoked, the one that survives still indicates a barding song is active (red colored music notes), even though the aggressor is dead and there is no other active barding action.

It has always done this and unfortunately the provo bug with hail storm not working on provoked creature's continues after one is dead

“ when the target is dead will the monster go back to aggressing the nearest player?”

Yes but retaining the provo animation and hail storm will not effect it i first reported the hail storm bug years ago...

  • Note for the animation for the surviving side of the provocation action can be stopped by moving out of range of the target (~15 tiles at max skill).

However, that's not practical in the cases where bards shine:  in groups of mobs that are close together, eg:
    1. Shadowguard bar room
    2. Eodon Mymidex "pit" quests (either side).
    3. Exodus dungeon
    4. ToT events
    5. Champ spawns.
    6. etc

Moving out of range will break *all* barding effects to all monsters in group battles like this.
