Weird question and a bit of a long shot but... is anyone here living in a VA home in PA?

So my wife works at a local Veteran's Home and she passed a room yesterday with a gentleman playing UO inside. They were equally surprised, she was surpised that someone else played UO and he was floored that she knew what UO was. He said he had been playing for a very long time and I thought that he might appreciate someone dropping by to talk shop. I asked her to find out more details but she doesn't always deliver to that floor. So on the slight chance that this description sounds like you and you're up for nerding out about the old days, drop me a PM.

Or you could always just go there yourself and pay him a visit.

That's the plan. No harm in seeing if that person is still on these forums to at least reach out instead of showing up randomly.

That isn't as easy as you think.
He would have to know their name.

I'm not sure what the rules are now
but before covid they weren't exactly allowed visitors.
(which also depends on which unit they are staying in too)

I once had to meet my husband in the smoking area outside.
And got very disapproving looks from the employees, watching the veterans.
I had to switch cars with my hubby, so we could get the tags renewed.
(He couldn't do it, because he was in a different state than where we live.)
