whats the best way to gain strength?

Set dexterity to go down, land lock intelligence.  Then grab a mage weapon head to old Haven and hack away.

Lock intelligence so it does not go up or down.

If you are starting a brand new character, simply casting spells will increase your strength and intelligence.  Lock dexterity when it gets sound 15 or 20.
