Disappearing Waypoint pins from Water stained SOS's

All of the waypoint pins for my various Water stained SOS's disappear from the map after being created.  Some stay around for about 5 seconds others disappear in less than a second.  Have other people seen this?  I am on the Pacific shard and playing in Trammel with the Enhanced Client.

    where are the SoS?  Are they in your back pack, or in a secure container in your house, in your boat's hold or pack beetle?

    They were in a secure container in my house.

    For the waypoints to stay on the map the mibs must be on your person, either in your backpack or in a pack within it.
