In about 4 hours of playing I have done the spawn twice (small group less than 8), I have turned in about 150 eggs and kept 4 rare colored ones, and I have 3 of the bright pink bunnies.

I love the swords on my bards! As for night sight, I think there are likely enough other alternatives (jewelry, earrings, boots, cloaks, scrolls, and potions) that developers time is better spent elsewhere.
