I believe the developers expect you to gather the items because you want to have them. If you don't want them, don't gather them.

Why would they update the notes for a short duration event? The colored rabbits are not a permanent addition. The developers expect players to read publish notes - that's why they publish them.

k, I took some tribarrel seeds to test center and used 'Grow_Plant' on them.Tri Barrel allowed to self polinate produced tri barrel seeds. Tri barrel when crossed with another produced a single barrel cactus.
