Silly questions

Does parry work against dragon breath?

If my paperdoll says my fc/fcr is 9/4 but I'm running protection what is the real number

I know regular slayer is x3 vs x2 for super slayer how does this affect instruments?

2)Faster cast - Capped at 2 for magery, necromancy & mysticism and 4 for  chivalry (if magery is below 70 skill) and spellweaving . Faster cast recovery capped at 6 and is not affected by protection.
    3) Slayer Instruments will increase your success chance by 20% when used on the creatures it is meant for.
Slayer Instruments will decrease your success chance by 20% when used on the creatures from its opposing group

If I’m not mistaken, protection drops your FC cap by 2 so for magery, necro, and mysticism you are at 0 and for chiv and sw you are at 2.

In your spellbook it says imposes a cap of zero

How is barding determined let's look at discoing a GD
    It's barding difficulty 160
My skill 120/120 using reptile slayer what's my actual success % and it's not higher using a dragon slayer?

It does on magery. Since imagery FC caps at 2. A reduction of 2 is zero.

There was only 1 type of spell when that description was written.

You can discord things with 160 difficulty. I have done it many times to the Cus on LS. With and without the slayer instrument.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

Try using a crystal ball of knowledge to discern the difference between lesser slayer and super slayer effectiveness on a dragon.

Consider using a lesser slayer dragon slayer instrument while using the discordance mastery on the dragon.  Note whether there is a difference of damage compared to using reptile slayer.

Enable timestamps in the chat log in EC.
Create a macro that spams your favorite spells.
Note the timestamps in the EC log when the spell casts, to derive the actual delay time.

    Unequip your weapon.
    Unequip your shield.

    Equip your shield.
Verify the "parry chance %" is not stated on the shield.

Approach a dragon, keep a distance.
Ensure you are not getting hit by any other critters.
Wait to get hit by a fireball.

Note whether the parry chance % is updated on the shield.

It's like 5% as said above, it shows on your shield.  Parry works like the formulas for melee.

When you are in a dungeon with casters your shield will say 5% most of the time. At least mine does.

This is a good idea, never think of using the time stamp which i suppose measures the actual duration regardless of the lag
