Mesanna. can you explain how a player can legally tow 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th,10th char?

    What is the point of towing a melee char around with you?

    They are not just towing,  they have auto target working, so they are all swinging at the same target as the same time,  no human can switch accts that fast

    we all know that the towed chars are NOT auto follow 

    Breakneck speed
    Never get stuck
    All hitting at the same time

    This is not auto follow
    Report the players that are actually doing illegal things.
    AFK on sampires 24/7 running very complex scripts at the Tot is illegal.
    Sitting still AFK at a Tot is illegal (and you will get hit by the afk timer too).
    Ps those sampires are actually running at breakneck speeds.

    This is not auto follow
    1. I have seen many guys put barding songs on their alt accounts and make them follow their main. They will usually have 2 bards each running 2 songs to get maximum benefit.

    2. This is an event where luck matters. If you are in a party with a very high luck player, you get a minor luck buff. I have never seen the actual numbers but I always assumed this was a 10% buff to party members. So if you have 2 max luck bards following you, then you get 4 song benefits and extra +400 luck.

    I'm sure there are bots but there are also many legitimate players that make their alt accounts follow their main so they can get extra luck and free buffs.

    The worst case I saw was a guy that made his 7 accounts follow him with max luck suit while trying to get an item that rolls better stats with luck.

    I thought about doing the same with 5 accounts while doing treasure hunting in fell. That +1000 fel luck, +1000 luck from 5 alts, +2000 luck on main should roll pretty good items to sell.

    With all of this being said, we should petition Mesanna and Kyronix to give us lucky bard songs and lucky mounts. Ki-rin should give its rider extra 500 luck as they bring luck in the original lore. Ninjas should also get +500 luck when they are in Ki-rin form.

    If these mobs were more difficult, I might drag a Bard singing peace songs behind me.  He does not auto shoot, he just gives buffs. He will shoot when attacked.  If I'm fighting a paragon I can click his screen and press a button to make him attack nearest.

    Ya in this event there are players who lead with a Sampire and the followers are Garg throwers.
    Probably because they allow life leech from paragons in this event.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    A troop of melee chars all insta hitting

    never seen an all guard me option for players, only commanded pets, so there must be an illegal control all keyboard thing going on

    Yea this is multiboxing. They use a 3rd party client that allows them to follow their main toon while also auto targeting (spamming AI) on hostiles around. It's been happening for several years. It's still illegal because it's automated gameplay across multiple accounts but the GMs don't typically action it (maybe because they are all paid accounts). Supposedly they did action people in Cove during the spring but not sure if that's true.

    I'm not arguing that it's annoying and frustrating, because it is, I just don't think anything is going to suddenly change when it's been allowed now for several years. 

    Going back to what I said earlier, what I'm asking for instead of mass banning is to simply bump up the spawn and let everyone benefit. Look at the spring event where pirate hats were easy to get and flowing from everywhere (and rewards were cheap)... it stopped being profitable to run bots halfway through the event and suddenly Cove wasn't swarmed with bots. I understand that many of these events feature best in slot items but I never understood why they try to make it a grind (last few spring events were nice that things were cheap & easy to get) because that really only benefits the people that are able to run 5 accounts at once (ie multiboxing).

    @JackFlashUk you've avoided multiple attempts I've done relay to you that one guy allegedly multiboxing isn't a problem yet you still ignore the real issue. Relax buddy, your swarm of sampires aren't going to get out farmed by one group of "multiboxer". "Multiboxing" this event is absolutely pointless anyways. And if you've paged on them yet they're still there perhaps they're not multiboxing? Auto follow is legal. 

    It's ok pal, your bot army profits are safe.

    As we saw in that other thread with the guy getting banned multiple times, really sick of cheaters coming on these forums and complaining. It's clear you've some ulterior motive when you ignore the massive amounts of cheating for one guy.

    I want everyone to play legally, I see no benefit in gam eo real life being a cheat

    Its all about integrity.

    Everything in game I have by using the EC and Pinco.  I don't need any automation. I want to play them game

    I am a firefighter in real life and I dont have an RMT site. I earn my money and right to play.

    Anyone who has a 3rd party site and make a living for this game should be actioned on. They know who they are

    I just wonder this:

    For years and year we used to talk about how many player should come back if the scripts RMT cheats were banned of good ?

    The game might be too far gone to recover, that would appear to be the big issue with getting rid of multi boxers ,  the $$$$$$ income

    So turning a blind eye and enjoy the cash seems to be the way

    Yet again you fail to address the armies of scripted sampires that are running around AFK. I have posted videos year after year, all you have to do is go back and check my history. It's funny because you'll see the same sampires that botted the manifestation also bot this. 24/7.

    But you also ignore even the people that are using auto attack scripts and are standing still. Is this ok? Connect the dots!

    Someone using auto attack script with people on auto follow and bingo, here we are. Not really multiboxing, just attack script + legal auto follow. 

    You are attacking the wrong thing. You are barking up the wrong tree. Focus your energy at the core issues, these clients or auto attacking scripts.

    Let's see. Best in slot gear gated behind mindless, boring, grind killing. Gee, I wonder if people are going to cheat it to profit?

    This is why I've been asking and saying for years that items should be account bound but I don't ever see you backing me up there. You seem to just want this one 'multiboxer' gone, not the armies of every other unattended or 'clear' cheating player.

    Want some advice?

    Stop comparing yourself to others and you'll be happier for it.

    Who cares if someone is running 10 accounts to effectively receive more rewards?

    The only way you're effected by it is the market price for those rewards drops according to how many rewards are available.  The price is the same for everyone.
